Caer Clud

Who are we?

Caer Clud is an open Druid group based in Glasgow, in the west of Scotland. We meet regularly, which usually means the third Sunday of every month, to either chat over a pleasant drink or go out to a site of interest.

Some of our members are in OBOD, the BDO, or the DOA; others are in no organisation, simply wishing to learn more about Druidry. All who are following or who may be interested in following a Druidic path are welcome at our meetings.

What do we do?

Our meetings are generally held in the afternoon, they are not very formal, and everyone’s contribution is welcome. There is no expectation that people coming for the first time will have any particular level of experience or knowledge. The one important thing we expect of everyone is respect for the views and beliefs of others. We have three types of meetings:

If what you see here interests you, do get in touch and come along to one of our meetings.

Druidcon

Since 2003, Caer Clud has organised Druidcon, an annual conference in Glasgow primarily for all those interested in Druidry or following a Druid path. Any profits go to charity. Speakers and performers like Emma Restall Orr, Donata Ahern, Dr. Jenny Blain, King Arthur Pendragon, Geo Trevarthen, Steve Wilson, Fiona Davidson, and Damh the Bard appear at Druidcon, which is an opportunity to have fun, make new friends, listen to some great speakers, attend workshops, and buy some interesting or lovely things from the stalls — all of this, and helping to raise funds for charity at the same time. Why not join us on the day?
